Michael F. Owolabi is the CEO and owner of MikeBizBlog site. He resides in Ilorin the Kwara State Capital.
He read Agriculture with Agricultural Economics as area of specialization in Agricultural University, Lublin, Poland between 1979 and 1984. Served National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 1984/85 in Plateau State and worked in the service of Kwara State Government, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in various sectors and capacities ranging from teaching to agricultural officer and later became Managing Director, Kwara Agricultural Development Project (KWADP) between 2016 and 2018.
In addition to Polish agriculture experience, He was a member of Team Nigeria that was sent to the USA by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to study Agricultural Statistics for Nigeria under – NASS/USDA Cochran Fellowship Program, USA July 12 – 26, 2009.
In the same year, He attended a course, Eliminating Rural Poverty: The Israel Development Experience – Israel, November 30 – December 10, 2009. Sponsored by Community Based Agriculture and Rural Development Project – African Development Bank (CBARDP – AfDB).
He voluntarily retired after 32 years of service in 2018 as Deputy Director.
